About Us
At Knight's Meat Company, we believe in family and traditions. Father & daughter team, Mike & Nickie Knight, continue their family's sausage recipes that span over 3 generations, beginning with our founder in 1973,
Eugene Knight, the original "Mr. Lou". Please visit us at our 3087 Deans Bridge Road retail shop in Augusta, GA. This is the EXCLUSIVE location to get the ORIGINAL sausage recipe just like our founder Mr. Lou made! Our products are not carried in IGA, KJ's, Walmart, Harvey's, Publix or Food Lion. Our sausage is only sold at 3087 Deans Bridge Rd where we make it fresh each & every week.
Our retail store is an old school butcher shop offering a wide selection of fresh meats to include beef, chicken, pork and seafood items in addition to our signature Knight's fresh & smoked sausage and bacon made in-house. Knight's Meat Company is the ONLY local butcher/meat shop making our own products on site, fresh each and every week. Local family providing quality, farm fresh meats to your table for over 50 years with 3 generations of experience which offers the best fresh & smoked sausage and bacon in Augusta and the CSRA.
Don't forget in addition to great meat selections, we offer fresh frozen vegetables, sauce, seasonings, PICK 5, luncheon meats, homemade souse meat, as well as goat, lamb and custom order pit ready pigs. Stop by Wednesday - Saturday and see what fresh, local traditions have to offer.
